Chart Patterns

Funnel, focal planet Uranus

You have the planetary pattern type called the 'funnel' shape. All your planets form a group, with the exception of the focal point, one
planet or two planets in conjunction. Your energies tend to be channeled through this focus. You will have abilities in the occupied area
of the chart, and goals in the direction of the focal point. The focal planet(s) symbolizes how your energies will be expressed, and where
you seek to have your needs met or achieve your purpose.

Uranus in the First House (or sign) gives an individual with an original and eccentric mind, whose intuition is strong. Change and variety
excite you. You are a nonconformist, and totally have your own code of ethics. You are constantly asserting your freedom and
independence, which is the very breath of life for you. The Uranian energy can be impulsive, as well as insensitive to others' needs, and
you can appear to be cold at times, or you may seem to be more excited by ideas than by other people. You may feel unrest and
isolation, as though on a separate wavelength from the rest of mankind. Your mutability and urge for constant change can frustrate or
confuse those around you. You may also feel uneasy in your sense of self, as you attempt to come to terms with this basic instability.
You benefit from more balance in applying your energy, and an awareness that everyone is not as impulsive as you are. You are a free
spirit, courageous and pioneering, whose mission in life is involved with bringing new ideas into being.

The following applies to your generation as a whole as well as to you personally:

Uranus in Leo (or the fifth house) gives a rebellious individual with a strong will. With this placement you are determined to get your
own way. You are reckless, original, and independent. You like to assert yourself, and may be unconventional in love affairs. You can
be very creative, especially in the arts. Children are a source of great interest but you may have difficulties in giving them warmth and
affection. You can benefit from more follow-through, as well as focus and self-discipline, generally, in order to successfully complete
what is started.

Important Features

Jupiter in Capricorn (2 Cap 03) Jupiter in the Fifth House

Jupiter in the Fifth House (or sign) gives a generous personality with good vitality. You have dignity, pride and dramatic presence. You
like to show off your good side, and have excellent executive abilities. You have good intuition, you would make a capable leader. You
are attracted to higher learning, and the fine arts, and are courageous and loyal. You can also be extravagant and suffer from errors in
judgment. You may tend to overdo things, and you should also beware of egotism.

Jupiter in Capricorn (or the tenth house) gives a serious and conscientious personality who is also very practical. You tend to be
extremely careful with money, are a good manager, and have a strong drive to achieve success. You have a talent for working with the
public. You can also be somewhat miserly with your affection. You can have problems with material well-being (especially if there are
challenging aspects to Jupiter in your chart). You may be too cautious and thrifty for your own good, and could benefit from striving to
be more generous.

Pluto in Taurus (22 Tau 56) Pluto in the Tenth House

Pluto in the Tenth House (or sign) gives a forceful personality with a focus on issues of authority, power and control. You may in fact
have a compulsion for control manifesting in problems with interpersonal relations or in rebellious attitudes toward established authority,
or perhaps in the charismatic personal magnetism of a natural leader. There are however likely to be difficulties inherent in maintaining a
position of authority, once achieved. What is needed is a reevaluation and transformation of your urge for power and control, based on
a deeper understanding of and more conscious and socially responsible use of personal power.

The following applies to your generation as a whole as well as to you personally:

Pluto in Taurus (or the second house) gives a personality somewhat focused around the issues of money and material possessions. With
this placement you are on a path of transformation of your attitude toward the material, and of your values in general. You may have a
tendency to associate a sense of security with material possessions, or possibly compulsive expenditures may be a problem. You can
overcome these tendencies by self-discipline and re-aligning of values. When your values are transformed, your sense of self no longer
depends on physical possessions, but rather depends on the deeper meaning associated with these things, which are symbolic of love
and sharing.

Sun in Pisces (28 Pis 23 17) Sun in the Eighth House

The Sun represents will and purpose, the sense of vitality, and the evolving higher Self. In Pisces it is Mutable-Water, and rules the feet.
Your ruling planet is Neptune, also Jupiter. You are friendly and likable, yet also can be very moody and introspective, and not entirely
at home in the world. Pisces is a watery sign, concerned with subtle emotions and secret mystical depths. You are dreamy and full of
imagination, and are easily influenced by everything around you. You also have an artistic temperament with which to express these
feelings. You can be strong when necessary, but you may have a hard time making a decision. At your best you are truly
compassionate, and operate at the level of service, love and understanding of mankind.

The Sun in the Eighth House represents a concentration of one's vital force to transform and regenerate. You enjoy the intensity of the
human animal. It is your nature to merge understanding with experience. You act from a primal urge to merge with the sacred and secret
relationships between yourself and the world. Your aim is to metamorphose yourself in order to experientially manifest the cycles of
death and rebirth from within your inner world. You are aware of the depths of human needs through your deep understanding of the
instinctual level of human inter-relations, and the fear of loss, or death. Through your own understanding of your inner realizations, you
easily perceive the motives of those around you. Through merging with others at the depths of human experience, you learn how to
experience your own emotional desires without fear. You penetrate every variation of deep emotion in order to confront your own
primal nature. You need to learn how to experiment with and confront your fears and insecurities in healthy ways around people who
support your need to grow intensely in order for you to maintain an ever-expanding boundary of security.

Moon in Taurus (12 Tau 12 02) Moon in the Tenth House

The Moon in Taurus gives a personality with a deep need for security, centered in the material world. You are possessed of powerful
emotions, and you are also charming, good-natured, and attractive. The material world can be of importance to you, for it makes you
feel comfortable to be in nice surroundings. You are also very practical, proud and stubborn, and should beware of acting conceited.
You are likely to attract a loyal and loving partner.

The Moon in the Tenth House represents an emotional sensitivity to the experience of your acceptance in public career, your works in
the world. Prestige matters a great deal to you. You may be ambitious in the outer world because you feel that you have something
important to share with others around you. This makes you strive towards demonstrating your inner ability to be a leader. You have
great inner strength and emotional control which you project outwardly as power. People may perceive you as emotionally cool, calm,
and collected. Your sense of control and power gives you an air of authority. You have natural leadership abilities and you take the
feeling of authority seriously as a demonstration of your self-worth. You feel a need to be connected to being useful in society and work
well with the public. You truly want to see yourself serving the best interest of your community. You do best when you are in position to
perform to the best of your qualifications, abilities, and talents and use your talents to improve the lot of others around you.

Angular Planets

Sun, Moon, Rising Sign Features

Sun in semi-square (within -1.2 degrees) with Moon

The planetary energies conflict in determined subtle tension; calmness is required. This aspect gives a willful and strong-minded
individual. You may have two sides to your approach to life, which do not always blend harmoniously: your will and your instinctual, or
more emotional, self. You have a high energy level and good intelligence, and are very aware and alert, but you may feel a conflict
between your public and private lives or the work you set out to accomplish versus your personal goals. You may have experienced
your parents as inharmoniously related to each other and also may have a tendency toward argument and conflict in your own
interpersonal relationships. There is a creative tension in your relationships, and also internally within your own personality, that may
lead you to accomplish much in life, through the path of struggle rather than the path of ease and comfort.

Sun in square (within 3.7 degrees) with Jupiter

The planetary energies conflict; internal and creative tensions bring rich rewards through effort over time. This aspect gives an optimistic
and high spirited individual. You are likely to be fortunate in your material surroundings. You are convivial and lively, and generous with
your money and your affections. There may be a tendency to overdo things, or to expand the waistline. You are attracted to higher
learning, and the fine arts, and are courageous and loyal , but you can be extravagant and suffer from errors in judgment. You should
also beware of too much egotism.

Sun in sextile (within -5.5 degrees) with Pluto

The planetary energies flow together, open into new possibilities, new connections. This aspect gives a willful personality with a focus
on being recognized and admired. You have strong desires, and you also have a powerful urge toward self-transformation, and may go
through many changes in your life. You are not shy about expressing your beliefs, and you may even feel a compulsion toward
self-assertion or self-aggrandizement. You also tend to champion the underdog, and react strongly to social injustice. In relationships,
you tend to become intensely involved quickly, and stay absorbed in the relationship as long as it lasts. There may be underlying feelings
of insecurity leading to your rather self-centered and ego oriented behavior. Exploring these feelings can be incredibly rewarding for
you, and should be quite possible, for you have tremendous powers of regeneration and rebirth. When you learn to train your
considerable energy on these socially oriented as well as personal goals, you can become a focal point for the transformation of society
itself.

Sun in semi-sextile (within -0.4 degrees) with Chiron

The planetary energies attract each other, require effort, allow entry of new information. With this aspect between Sun and Chiron there
are indications that you may experience painful realizations throughout your own life and that you also have the ability to heal others as
well. Chiron is called "the wounded healer" because it represents the archetype of imperfection and loss which when integrated leads to
compassion and understanding of others' suffering. The empathy and the understanding that are gained through life's trials provides the
ability to serve as a helper and a healer for others. Since you have come through the fires of difficulty you are likely to be someone with
career possibilities in the helping professions. It is often easier to face others' troubles than one's own, and you may even be more ready
and available to help others than to help yourself. It is good to integrate your past experiences, no matter how painful they may have
been, and no matter how painful these feelings continue to be for you in adult life. Then you will be in a position to truly sympathize with
others' suffering and help them to work out their traumas as well.

Sun in semi-square (within 0.6 degrees) with Midheaven

The planetary energies conflict in determined subtle tension; calmness is required. This aspect gives a strong personality, very involved
in work and career. You can be autocratic and may appear selfish, or bent on getting your own way. You have tremendous drive, and
will likely go far, but you should beware of too much ego-involvement in being on top.

Moon in strong sextile (within -0.5 degrees) with Mercury

The planetary energies flow together, open into new possibilities, new connections. This aspect gives a kindly, sound and logical
mentality. You are a good communicator, and are able to express your emotions easily. You are an inquisitive student of life, and are
also excellent at working with the public. You usually prefer plain and direct speech, and you are judicious and honest in your approach
to life.

Moon in strong trine (within -1.0 degrees) with Mars

The planetary energies flow smoothly; the connection is easy and beneficial. This aspect gives a vigorous and daring personality. You
are out-going, and may also be a profound thinker. You have a practical and matter-of-fact way of going about things. You speak
directly and to the point, although you may be over-sensitive to criticism. All in all, you have good control over your passions and
balance well between the extremes of getting close to other people and maintaining your own sense of individuality.

Moon in strong sextile (within 0.6 degrees) with Saturn

The planetary energies flow together, open into new possibilities, new connections. This aspect gives a deepening and concentrating in
the expression of your feelings. Usually there is caution and reserve in your make-up, along with a good sense of the practicalities of life.
You may be extremely sensitive. You may have had a strict upbringing. The parental figures, in your life, especially your mother, may
have been experienced as rejecting or uncaring. You may experience some difficulties in your relationship to the feminine. You may also
benefit from relationships with powerful feminine figures, symbolic of the powerful feelings which need fuller expression in your own
nature. The lesson for you here is to understand and value the true roots of your being more fully and deeply, leading to a better sense
of security and greater self-acceptance.

Moon in strong conjunction (within 1.8 degrees) with Midheaven

The strongest blend of the energies represented by these two planets. This conjunction gives an emotionally sensitive personality who is
nurturing and caring. You may tend to be dependent on others for your own feelings of self-worth. It may be important to you that
others look up to you. You do well in a business setting, having a dramatic presence that gives you natural abilities to influence others,
and an attitude of caring that makes you easy to get along with. You set priorities based on people rather than strictly on profits. Your
career may also be quite changeable.

Moon in sextile (within 3.5 degrees) with Venus

The planetary energies flow together, open into new possibilities, new connections. This aspect gives a calm and steady emotional
nature, with a refined and artistic sensibility. You are habitually cheerful and are likely to be happiest in your home and family. You
possess a great deal of personal charm, and also have a love for the arts, especially music and dance. You are courteous and popular,
and supportive to your friends. It is important for you that your home environment be aesthetically pleasing.

The ruler of your Sun Sign is Neptune in Taurus (3 Tau 39)

The ruler of your Sun sign is characteristic of your personality:

Neptune in the Ninth House (or sign) gives an impressionable, idealistic and very intuitive personality. You are inclined to the mystical,
and are high-minded, seeing life in terms of visionary and poetic feelings, rather than in practical terms. You are capable of great belief
in the unknown and unproven. You have a desire to explore and travel, to try new ideas and experiment with new ways of doing things.
You may be attracted to spiritual studies, or psychedelics, as a way to achieve a transcendent state of mystical union with all creation.
Your challenge lies in relying on your considerable inner vision to unfold your own unique pathway and to make concrete and real your
flights of consciousness to other realms, and bring this vision to society.

The following applies to your generation as a whole as well as to you personally:

Neptune in Taurus (or the second house) gives a kind and charming personality with a sensuous nature and good taste in artistic
matters. You love music, painting and poetry. You express your aesthetic sense in your environment. You can have delusions regarding
the true importance of the material world in your life. You may have a tendency to excessive consumption or even extravagance. There
could be a drive for more possessions, and yet a lack of appreciation for these possessions. You may have good luck with money, or
you may waste it pursuing impractical schemes. There may also be an idealism regarding personal wealth, and a need to give things to
others. It is important for you to realize that a deeper perception of the importance of the material world is needed, in order to
transform your values regarding resources.

Leo Rising

The Rising Sign is the mask shown to others, also the physical appearance.

Leo Rising people are dramatic, extroverted and assertive. Your ruling planet is the Sun. You have great energy, courage and honesty,
and are very creative, self-confident and perhaps a bit self-indulgent. You expect to be the center of attention, and often are. Even so,
people forgive you for your excesses, sensing in you the incurable romantic. You are likely to have a leonine appearance, with a thick
mane of hair and a dramatic flair to your clothing and appearance. You also enjoy the warmth of the physical sun. You are determined
and usually get your way when you really want to. You also possess great integrity, and are a natural leader. Leo people are very
proud, and your challenge is not to be arrogant or egotistical, but rather to develop humility and compassion, and to learn detachment in
the gift of your affections.

Uranus in strong conjunction (within -0.8 degrees) with Ascendant

The strongest blend of the energies represented by these two planets. This conjunction gives an eccentric and strong-willed individual.
You are an original and independent thinker with an active, scientific mind, futuristic in outlook, and you are capable of bringing new
ideas into being. In your restless search for the new and exciting you can put others' feelings aside. You can therefore seem to be
determined to get your own way. You also love freedom from conventionality, so you may rebel against the norm, or conflict with
others in this area. You are inclined to be reckless. You are also inclined to be nervous and impatient, and tend to shy away from
commitment and responsibility. You can benefit from trying to control your energetic and visionary impulses in order to make these
more concretely available in your own life, and in the life of society around you.

Pluto in square (within -2.5 degrees) with Ascendant

The planetary energies conflict; internal and creative tensions bring rich rewards through effort over time. This aspect gives a willful
personality with a focus on being recognized and admired. You like to get your way. You have strong desires, and are single-minded
about pursuing them. You have a powerful urge toward self-transformation, and may go through many changes in your life. In
relationships, you tend to become intensely involved quickly, and stay absorbed in the relationship as long as it lasts. You are not shy
about expressing your beliefs, and may feel a compulsion toward self-assertion and self-aggrandizement. You may have underlying
feelings of insecurity leading to rather self-centered and ego oriented behavior. This can change, however, for you have tremendous
powers of regeneration and rebirth. You tend to champion the underdog, and react strongly to social injustice. When you learn to train
your considerable energy on socially oriented rather than personal goals, you can become a focal point for the transformation of society.

Moon in weak square (within 8.2 degrees) with Ascendant

The planetary energies conflict; internal and creative tensions bring rich rewards through effort over time. This aspect between the
Moon and Ascendant gives a nurturing and protective personality. You are subtle in your actions, rather than direct, and are likely to
reflect the moods of those around you. Security and your home is important to you. You have a habit of moodiness, with your emotions
frequently changing, and this can create problems in relating to others. You may feel at a loss to connect with others, not being sure of
how they really feel towards you, and yet secretly desiring emotional contact with them. You also tend to act instinctively, rather than
after reasoning out the situation. You can therefore benefit from shedding the light of conscious reason on your habitual patterns, and
working toward greater focus on your true goals.

Chiron in weak trine (within -7.5 degrees) with Ascendant

The planetary energies flow smoothly; the connection is easy and beneficial. With this aspect between Chiron and the Ascendant in your
chart you are likely to experience painful realizations throughout your own life and have the ability to heal others as well. Chiron is called
"the wounded healer" because it represents the archetype of imperfection and loss which when integrated leads to compassion and
understanding of others' suffering. The empathy and the understanding that are gained through life's trials provide the ability to serve as a
helper and a healer for others. You are more invested in this archetype than most, since Chiron is in a powerful connection with your
rising point, symbolizing the self that you present to the world, esoterically your true self. You have probably experienced a certain
degree of pain and frustration related to your self-concept, possibly in relation to trauma in your early years concerning parental care or
or perhaps similar issues with your peers. These early experiences may have made it hard to accept the love of others in your adult life.
It is good to make the effort to connect yourself consciously with any painful events that may be buried in your unconscious, so that
these will no longer have so much power over you. You do have a great deal compassion and empathy for others, and you are likely to
be someone with career possibilities in the helping professions. You may strongly desire to help other people, and yet be unable to give
them the full benefit of your higher self. It is good to integrate your past experiences, no matter how painful they may have been, and no
matter how painful these feelings continue to be for you in adult life. When you have made a solid transition from existing in a divided
state to a more balanced and integrated whole, you can be of much more actual service to other people, since you are more available to
yourself.

Other Natal Planets

Mercury in Pisces (11 Pis 42) Mercury in the Seventh House

Mercury in Pisces gives a refined and visionary mentality. With this placement, you may well have musical ability. You are likely to be
poetic in the expression of your thoughts and feelings, and you may be rather absent-minded at times. Mundane reality doesn't interest
you. You may avoid dealing with it by being evasive or vague in your communication with others, as well as inspired and visionary. You
may day-dream or fall prey to self-deception. You are highly sensitive in your reaction to your surroundings, reacting from the
unconscious and instinctual level of your mental function rather than the logical level. Your feelings can be easily hurt, and you should
guard against resentment toward others for taking advantage of your idealistic nature.

Mercury in the Seventh House represents a strong mental connection to other people. You naturally collect and exchange ideas with
other people. You are very interested in what other people think about any given situation in which you find yourself. This awareness of
other people's points of view can make it difficult for you to come to a decision. When you learn to detach your own ideas from those
of other people, you can discover the mysterious balancing act of accepting the differences between self and other.

Venus in Pisces (15 Pis 43) Venus in the Eighth House

Venus in Pisces gives a love nature that is subtle and refined, and willing to sacrifice itself. You are romantic and emotional. You are
also very sensitive, and are likely to be wounded by your understanding of love. You are poetical and musical, and can be extremely
psychic. You are always ready to take sides with the underdog. You are socially adept, and easy-going, but you tend to be lacking in
strength of character. You benefit from learning discrimination in the gift your affections.

Venus in the Eighth House represents a deeply felt connection between what one values, affection and intimacy. You are likely to
benefit from close associations with others, either materially or spiritually. You are likely to be sensual and passionate in relationships,
and tend to relate to even casual contacts on a deeper and more personal level. For you, there is no such thing as a superficial contact
with others. You may also appear friendly on the surface while acting selfishly at another more hidden level of your personality. You
benefit from curbing the willful expression of your passion. You may feel called to express artistically the hidden realms of being, such as
death and dying or the occult.

Mars in Capricorn (11 Cap 13) Mars in the Fifth House

Mars in the Fifth House (or sign) gives an energetic and passionate nature, which is dramatic, enthusiastic, ambitious and proud. You
have tremendous vitality and courage. You usually put your best foot forward, and are possessed of an innate charm and animal
magnetism. You are physically active. You need to work through being selfish, or jealous, as well as a tendency to be extremely
stubborn and convinced of your own point of view. You could benefit from cultivating greater concern for others.

Mars in Capricorn (or the tenth house) gives an ambitious, vigorous and persistent nature, conservative and careful but always able to
reach the goal. You generally achieve much, being naturally controlled and a good follower as well as a good leader. Your actions are
usually guided by social convention. You are fond of responsibility. You don't speak without a purpose, and can get a reputation as "the
strong silent type". You may need to work through issues of pride, or arousing opposition, even hostility from others. You could
possibly benefit from practicing to be more unselfish.

Saturn in Pisces (12 Pis 49) Saturn in the Seventh House

Saturn in the Seventh House (or sign) gives a pleasant personality with a deepening or concentration of the power to relate to others.
You are easy to get along with, and you usually do well in the areas of partnerships and business relationships. You are possessed of
good judgment, diplomacy and tact. You are outer-directed. You are self-reliant and may experience a sense of isolation. You may find
sorrow or difficulty in marriage, and yet rise above this circumstance, which can become an opportunity for inner integration and
balancing. Your lesson is to make better use of relationship as a vehicle for self-discipline and to further your growth as an individual.

The following applies to your generation as a whole as well as to you personally:

Saturn in Pisces (or the twelfth house) gives a serious and self-conscious personality. You can be moody and introspective, and are
compassionate and sympathetic to the problems of others. You may feel that life is too hard, or that it is beyond your conscious control.
You can suffer from trying circumstances such as imprisonment either real or imagined, or you may have a strong sense of guilt, which
may be generalized rather than specific. You tend to withdraw from the world, or in some way give up control. On the other hand, you
may overcompensate by trying too hard to achieve control. Your true path lies in mystical self-sacrifice rather than in the more mundane
life of worldly events. You possess in concentrated form the urge for spiritual evolution that is present in all of us, and which requires
detachment from the personal self in the quest for mystic union with all mankind.

Chiron in Aries (27 Ari 58) Chiron in the Ninth House

Chiron in the Ninth House (or sign) represents issues with one's vital force of abstracting and understanding universal truth. This
placement can lead to high achievement in the scholastic arena, but it may be nagging doubts that you are really good enough that spur
you on, rather than a pure love of learning. There is likely to be some form of painful realization surrounding the pursuit of wisdom, or
perhaps in the area of philosophy or religion. It may be that parental figures had different notions of what makes the world make sense
than you did, but for one reason or another you didn't take them on. Perhaps you were too young at the time for such a challenge, and
now in your adult life you feel the pull of the beat of a distant drummer, but feel ambivalent or not sure enough of yourself to really do
anything about it. In your frustration you may even seek to help other people to work out their own concepts of higher knowledge,
while you yourself remain stuck in the mud of prior patterns. If so, it is time to shake off the shackles of the past and get on with your
individual sense of your own philosophical values and visions. Perhaps by delving into what associations you have with bad models from
early childhood, you can begin to more fully and completely inhabit the natural vision that belongs to your higher self. Then you can truly
shine in the world of ideas, as you move out from your own center rather than the point of balance represented by other, more alien,
philosophies.

The following applies to your generation as a whole as well as to you personally:

Chiron in Aires (or the First House) represents issues with one's vital force to be, to act, to initiate. With this placement of Chiron, your
very sense of who you are may be threatened by disturbing realizations and painful memories. You may have felt belittled and put down
in your formative years, rather than encouraged, by the significant adult figures in your life. Even after reaching maturity, you may
encounter obstacles that prevent you from reaching your full potential. These difficulties can set up a pattern for failure, in which you
operate more from a fear of failing than the expectation of success that breeds confidence for further achievement. One way this may
manifest is in terms of acting not in your own behalf, in furthering your own goals, but rather in behalf of the goals of other people, which
seem somehow more important or at least get priority treatment. You may keenly feel a lack of achievement in your own life, and
compensate by trying too hard to help these others, putting yourself in the background, as it were. As long as these patterns operate
more or less unconsciously, they are difficult to overcome, so the first step in surmounting them is to become more conscious of your
own pain; acknowledging and discovering more about what exactly went on in the past to make you feel frustrated with your own
abilities. At that point you begin to come out from behind your painful experiences and really show yourself. With a more conscious
understanding of your own dynamics you can also begin to truly be of help to others, in how they deal with similar issues, as you start to
approach them not from a false sense of vicarious achievement, but from a place of true friendship and helpfulness.

N Node in Pisces (10 Pis 30R) N Node in the Seventh House

Lunar North Node in the Seventh House (or sign). South Node in the first house or sign. This placement gives a personality with a
focus on forming close partnership attachments. You may have difficulties in marriage and partnerships; but there are also great rewards
to be gained in this area. This is ultimately a spiritual placement of the North Node. In the past, or in past lives, you have been
concerned with yourself alone, but now you must make the transition to being mostly concerned with others. This concern for the other
person does not come naturally to you, for it is easier to rely on yourself, as you have always done. Now, in this lifetime, though, you
need to focus your energies outward. The welfare of the other person, your intimate partner or your partner in other types of
relationship, is a necessary key to your own spiritual evolution. Your lessons in this life revolve around true giving of yourself to another.

Lunar North Node in Pisces (or the twelfth house). South Node in the sixth house or sign. This placement give you a personality with a
focus on spiritual, rather than worldly, concerns. Although the everyday life of practical matters comes easily to you, you do not find
your true happiness in these mundane affairs, but seek constantly to expand your horizons mentally and spiritually to a larger and more
inclusive context. This may be difficult, for the pull of everyday life is very strong in you. In many ways it is what you do best. In the
past, or in previous lifetimes, you made your focus in refining your abilities in the practical world. At that time you dealt mainly with
issues of personal health, or of the welfare of others in small but important ways, focused on worldly existence. Now, in this lifetime,
your focus gradually shifts to a higher plane of activity. You find your true happiness not so much in day-to-day routine, but in sacrificing
yourself to a higher purpose, to advancing beyond the material world, and in helping others with a true compassion, and a disregard for
your own well-being. You find yourself going deep within yourself to bring forth a renewed understanding of how to serve others by
giving up your personal ego-involvement in your actions, and becoming a exemplar of a renewed and more spiritually based society.

Other Aspects

Mercury in strong sextile (within -0.5 degrees) with Mars

The planetary energies flow together, open into new possibilities, new connections. This aspect gives great mental energy with an
aggressive attitude and a disputatious mind. You are never at a loss for an answer, and are able to succeed well in debate, being able to
find the weakness in your opponent's argument. You are courageous and somewhat rash in speech, and have a strong will. The reason
and action work well together giving you tremendous analytic talents but you do not always have the enthusiasm and drive to
accomplish all that may be accomplished. You are active, and always on the go, and have a restless nature that is not easily satisfied.
You possess great talent for literary activities.

Mercury in strong conjunction (within 1.1 degrees) with Saturn

The strongest blend of the energies represented by these two planets. This conjunction gives a profound mentality, deepening and
concentrating your mind and your powers of speech and communication. You are shrewd in business, and are adaptable to a variety of
professions. Long hours of concentration could produce in you a brilliant scholar, or a star of the legal profession. You may seem to
suffer from a variety of nervous disorders, but these could actually be the result of subconscious fears of inadequacy in mental pursuits.
You may on the other hand over-compensate for this by making extraordinary efforts. You may also feel a sense of isolation and
loneliness in your life. Your lesson is to learn faith and to cultivate a positive attitude toward your mental process, restructuring that
process along more personal and less rigid lines.

Venus in strong sextile (within -1.7 degrees) with Midheaven

The planetary energies flow together, open into new possibilities, new connections. This aspect gives a caring and aesthetically
motivated personality. You are friendly and social, and consistently strive for harmony in your dealings with other people. With the
beauty and grace of Venus affecting your public life, you are ideally suited for a career in diplomacy or the arts, or some other elegant
and graceful profession, such as interior decorating. You work well with others, and do better to establish yourself in a business
partnership rather than being employed on your own.
